I am so excited to have this blog as a way of keeping in touch with all my awesome committee and my many friends and family members who support Festival of Trees. 100 % of money raise at Festival of Trees go to needy families at Primary Children's Medical Center. I have the greatest friends!
Melanie Liljenquist did this tree for a family in her ward who lost their little girl.
The England Sisters did this tree to celebrate MaCalls life. They almost lost her and she spent a good amounto of time at Primary Childrens.
Amy Walker did this tree to help her kids learn about service. They had to do things to earn the ornaments for it.
My sweet friend Erin Gadd did this tree with her breast cancer survivor group. Tese chics are amazing. After getting all these pink tree form Macy's I did not know what to do with them. Who can pull off a pink tree....um Erin can! I love you, baby! You rock. If you want to see the before pics of these trees scroll down to the storage unit section.
Josephs Gift
This was our committee project in 2008 in honor of Rebecca's (committee member) baby Joseph who passed away.
Thanks to everyone for there help, especially to Debbie for heading it up. It really was one of the prettiest trees. I love you guys! (Rebbecca's sister, Rebecca, Debbie)
I could not give this craddle away to just anyone. All my babies slept in it. I pulled it out of a dumpster and refinished when we were poor students. I know this is where it was suppost to go. Isn't it cute!
Festival People
Look how busy we are in the board room...definatly not a "bored" room!
How cute is this! The wife lead the way on the motorized scooter while the husband held on.
What a cute family!
Africa Tree
Tammy and Rusty brought all this stuff back. Anji's creative brain put the star together. I thought it turned out awsome!
I love these Nativities!
Erin made a scrapbook explaining everything on the tree.
BEAUTIFUL!
Snow Sisters
